The Exhibition is an integral part of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) which forms the culminating learning experience at our Primary school. It is a challenging, yet enjoyable opportunity for our Year 6 learners to work together as a group and to apply the essential elements of the PYP, directing their own student-led transdisciplinary inquiry into globally significant issues or topics of their choice under any of the six themes of the PYP. This year, the Year 6 students performed their PYP Exhibition with the theme of “Sharing the Planet”.
The children’s presentations yesterday were awe-inspiring as they were able to bring their causes to the forefront for parents, teachers, and other students to be aware of Animals, Brain & Mindfulness, Plastic Pollution, Refugees, Wasted Resources, Education & Children Rights, Global Warming, Child Soldiers, Overpopulation, Cyber Bullying, Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs, Health & Diseases, and Equality.
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all Year 6s! They did an amazing job!
