Dr. John Moore
Dr John has served on school leadership teams in Sri Lanka, London and Beijing, where he was Head of Upper School at Harrow International School, before moving to become Principal at The British School Kathmandu in July 2013. The British School Kathmandu was a member of FOBISIA and was judged outstanding in all areas when inspected by the British Schools Overseas OFSTED. The school was awarded the TES British School Initiative of the Year in 2016 and British International School of the Year in 2017 (as well as Senior Leadership of the Year and Community Initiative of the Year). He was awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headship in 2011, has been an A Level and IGCSE examiner for History and Government Politics, has taught Thinking Skills/Critical Thinking at A Level and his doctorate focused on gender identities and student achievement. He is also an excellent footballer according to his teammates.
Secondary School Principal
Jackie joined us in August 2018 from Bangkok Patana School where she had been part of the senior leadership team. At Bangkok Patana school she was instrumental in raising educational standards by contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, facilitating the professional development of staff, enhancing both academic and pastoral well-being of students, and ensuring safeguarding procedures that enabled an environment within which students, staff and families from diverse backgrounds could flourish. As Secondary Principal, Jackie will work with all the teams across secondary on similar fields and she is committed to ensuring St. Andrews S107 continues its journey towards being a world class, outstanding school.
Primary School Principal
Linda joined St. Andrews International School, Sukhumvit 107 in August 2008. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Diploma in teaching from Massey University in New Zealand. She started teaching as a primary school teacher in New Zealand for five years before travelling and working in Europe. In England, Linda taught a wide range of ages for 15 years. During this time, she also held positions of responsibility including literacy coordinator, art coordinator, and Head of Early Years and Key Stage One.
