S107 is an inclusive school committed to ensuring that every student receives the appropriate support to meet their neurodiverse needs. We assess each child upon admission to ensure we are fully equipped to support their learning journey.
We recognise that students may require additional support at various stages of their education for a range of reasons. To address this, our Learning Support provision is personalised to each child, following the ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ framework to tailor interventions to their unique and diverse needs. Regular collaboration between students, parents, school staff, and external specialists ensures that ambitious goals are set and met effectively.
In addition to small class sizes, S107 benefits from a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Department. This team works closely with classroom teachers to provide personalised access to the mainstream curriculum. Our purpose-built Learning Hubs, located in both the Primary and Secondary phases, offer quiet areas, cooperative workspaces, and private rooms for individual therapy and learning.

The Dual Learner Programme (for students aged 12–18) is an inclusive and innovative approach that combines traditional education with alternative pathways. Students in this programme divide their learning between S107 classes and the on-site vocational Steps Training Centre. In addition to vocational training, the Steps Centre features a campus café where students gain hands-on work experience, further enriching their education.
Through the Dual Learner Programme, students work towards gaining ASDAN qualifications in a range of subjects, including Maths, Science, English, History, Geography, Computer Taster, Expressive Arts, Sports and Fitness, and Foodwise. The programme also includes ASDAN courses focusing on essential life skills, such as the Money Progression course.

S107 warmly welcomes students for whom English is an additional language, offering a comprehensive and academically rigorous English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme. This programme is specifically designed to create the optimal conditions for both academic and personal success, equipping students with the language skills necessary for full participation in school life.
To strategically support students in developing advanced English proficiency, empowering them to succeed independently in mainstream classrooms without ongoing EAL support.
At S107, we offer tailored language support to all students for whom English is not a first language, starting from Year 1 through to the end of Year 11. The level and nature of support is adapted to suit individual levels of proficiency, ensuring that each student receives the assistance they need.
Our school proudly hosts students from over 40 nationalities, and we celebrate the richness of our diverse international community. The EAL programme is delivered by specialist language teachers with extensive expertise in teaching English as an additional language, with a focus on either Primary or Secondary education.
To maximise the impact of the EAL programme and ensure that language acquisition remains a whole-school priority, all staff at S107 receive professional development in the theory and pedagogy of English language teaching. This ensures that every member of our school community is equipped to support the language development and academic success of our diverse student body.
