Students gain a world of opportunities with an international school education
By providing an international education, St. Andrews S107 ensures every student will have greater opportunities to access higher education and find future employment.
Any child fortunate enough to embark on an international school education will benefit from a multitude of experiences and learning programmes that do not normally exist in more traditional schools. As a result of having both students and teachers, from many different nationalities, an international school will provide an education where the positives of learning languages and experiencing new cultures are used to an advantage.
Research shows that using “new languages, meeting people of other cultures or nationalities, and learning new customs”, can “all offer the potential to develop communication skills, cultural awareness, behavioural flexibility, and social responsibility”.
By stepping through the door of an international school a student automatically becomes part of a dynamic community that offers an unparalleled situation: learning about the lifestyle, ideas, values and religions of other nations from a young age. In these schools, differing cultures and languages are no longer obstacles to learning but a wonderful opportunity to encourage diversity and inclusion, and to enrich a child’s life.
