Remembrance Sunday 2025 – Lest We Forget

On a solemn day – Remembrance Sunday 2025 – at the British Club Bangkok we paused to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed their lives in the line of duty along with Ambassadors, Military and Government representatives and members of the Thai and Expat community in Thailand.

What is Remembrance Sunday?

  • Remembrance Sunday, observed on the second Sunday of November, is a day of reflection held across the Commonwealth to commemorate the end of World War I and honour all those who have lost their lives in conflicts since.

  • The red poppy has become a symbol of this remembrance, representing both the sacrifice made and the hope for peace.
